Updates to Pixel Pitch — the free browser party game where you invent silly products and pitch them to friends.
0.9.2 — Zero-Friction Party Flow
Ten challenge presets, phase soundtracks that stay alive through reveals, and a 3.5-second TV bumper so nobody taps “I'm ready” between phases.
Lobby invite is one copy link + QR; homepage challenges lock in before Round 1. Mobile studio gets max canvas, Roll Idea, and a clean Name & Pitch sheet.
Showcase auto-advances after the last rating; reveal cards stagger reviews with an 8-second “Next creation” bar, Hold, and Share Card.
0.8.14 — The Lobby Starts on the Front Porch
The homepage now rotates through real challenges — swipe the carousel, hit Play this challenge, and your game opens with that theme already picked. Less menu archaeology, more pitching.
Browse player creations with stars and review quotes right on the home page, or jump into the full gallery when you need inspiration (or ammunition).
Start a game, join with a code, pick from the challenge grid, or write your own prompt — same party game, fewer “wait, where do I click?” moments.
0.8.13 — Read the Room (and the Roast)
You can finally see what everyone said about your masterpiece — stars, written reviews, and the whole circus of creations at the end of a round.
Round results are a group photo: every pitch, every rating, every optional hot take. No more "what did they even think?"
Reviews got room to breathe: 140 characters of praise, shade, or sincere confusion.
When the last star is in, the showcase moves on — the host is not held hostage by a clock that already finished emotionally.
The host still has to let everyone see the scoreboard before the next thing; we added a polite "wait for the stragglers" rule.
New round? Everyone taps ready, you get a quick countdown, then design — so round two does not ambush you mid-snack.
Optional price guesses still exist when your theme wants them. Still wrong most of the time. Still funny.
0.8.12 — Tap, Type, Reload, Breathe
Text shows up where you tap it. Revolutionary, we know.
Your drawing still there after a refresh? Yes. Your dignity after a bad pitch? That's on you.
The countdown timer finally counts down like a real timer, not a suggestion.
Host stuck on a weird round? There's a rescue button. With great power comes mild responsibility.
If the server hiccups, the game remembers you're in it instead of ghosting you back to the lobby.
Pixel Pitch: The Lobby Got a Facelift (and a Gift Shop)
The home page now explains the game in plain English: silly challenge, fake product, pitch it, get rated and roasted.
Player creations have a proper gallery on the site — browse the best pitches, stars, and review quotes, or open a shareable page for a single masterpiece.
There is a How to Play guide when someone asks “wait, what do we do?” — you can send them there instead of typing it out in the group chat.
Send Pixel Pitch feedback goes to the FamiFly support desk with the Pixel Pitch topic, so your notes land in the right inbox (not the task app).
Pixel Pitch: The "We Fixed Your Text Box" Update
The Text tool works now. Your products can finally have words on them. Shakespeare would be proud, or at least mildly interested.
Skipping a price guess no longer counts as guessing $0. Nobody wins "Closest" by not showing up.
Star ratings now add up. A product rated 4s across the board no longer gets 5 stars.
No more freeloaders: empty entries from players who wandered off can't win awards anymore.
Refreshed by accident? Your masterpiece comes back.
While everyone else rates your product, you can watch the stars roll in live and add a line of last-second hype.
The host's "Continue" screen no longer goes blank. Hosting is back to being a position of power.
Quote marks stay in your descriptions. "Mud is structural" keeps its dignity.
